The program is developed in collaboration with the National School of Health and the Health Institute Carlos III, within the framework of the Joint Institute-National School of Health (IMIENS).

The field of health protection, healthcare and research Biomedical has had an exponential development in the last decades, a change that has not been foreign to the profound biotechnological transformations in general and biosanitary in particular. The legal systems, both national, international and supranational, have responded to these changes incorporating specific norms to regulate relationships within the so-called health sciences with special attention to people's rights. It split of a frame normative practically non-existent. The few standards that some States recognized provided partial and, in most cases, unsatisfactory solutions to new problems and new demands of a society surprised by an avalanche of novel biosanitary manifestations. In parallel, the Biomedical research has developed extraordinarily and also in this field there have been far-reaching legislative changes. In both cases, health professionals, the psychological treatment, researchers and also legal operators have been seen required to know and apply a very specific part of the legal system that regulates multiple aspects related to health, sanitation and biomedical research. & nbsp;
